Usage
Characteristic
- Introduction
Paulownia™ (Polypropylene (PP) foam sheet)

Paulownia™ is a Polypropylene (PP) foam sheet, expanded 3 times by foam extrusion, having unique closed cell structure. Features include:
- Lightweight
- Easy punching and cutting quality
- Good shock-absorber and rigidity
- Resistant to water and chemicals
- Soft texture providing safe and easy handling
Applications include returnable container, partition inside container, padding plate, spacer, board, and more to replace corrugated plastic, corrugated paper and plywood.
Paulownia™ Super HD (Polyethylene (PE) foam sheet)

Paulownia™ Super HD is a Polyethylene (PE) foam sheet, expanded 2 times by foam extrusion, having closed cell structure. Features include:
- Resistant to oil, water, chemicals, and abrasion
- Excellent surface hardness
- Good shock-absorber and rigidity
- Easy punching and cutting quality
- Lightweight and soft texture providing safe and easy handling
Applications include crossties for heavy components, partition inside container, padding plate, spacer, board, and more to replace plywood, solid PP or HDPE sheet.
Paulownia™ V (Polypropylene (PP) foam sheet)
Paulownia V is a Polypropylene (PP) foam sheet, expanded 5 times by foam extrusion, having closed cell structure. Features include:
- Lightweight
- Easy punching and cutting quality
- Good shock-absorber and rigidity
- Less cost and eco-friendly because of less material
- Soft texture providing safe and easy handling
Applications include returnable container, partition inside container, padding plate, spacer, board, and more to replace corrugated plastic, corrugated paper and plywood.

Notes for Paulownia, Paulownia Super HD, and Paulownia V:
- Measuring method of appearance density is as follows.
Size of test specimen: product width x ca.300mm
Thickness is measured by micrometer.
Width is measured by metal tape measure (JIS class 1)
Length is measured by metal tape measure (JIS class 1)
Weight is measured by electronic balance.
Appearance density = Weight / (Thickness x Width x Length) - The gauge length of test specimens is 100mm. (In case that thickness is 15 or 20mm, it is 200mm.)
